The beneficiaries for 2010 were the four local surf clubs. The funds will assist with the purchase of much needed rescue equipment for Camden Haven, Wauchope-Bonny Hills, Tacking Pt and Port Macquarie surf clubs.
Each club received $7,000 from the proceeds of the 2010 Ball.

 Barefoot Ball 2010!!What a fabulous night was had by all at the 2010 Black Tie & Barefoot Ball (February 13).
The Ball Committee recently invited sponsors and volunteers to an informal ceremony to announce the fund-raising total for 2010 - $28,000. Cheques for $7,000 were presented to each of our four local surf life saving clubs (see pic below). Thanks again to all our generous Sponsors, supporters, suppliers and volunteers. Fund Raising The Black Tie & Barefoot Ball has raised over $120,000 ALL of which has stayed in our local area. Our four local surf clubs each received a $7,000 cheque from the 2010 Ball. Seven defibrillator units were purchased and installed across the local area from the 2009 Ball funds. In previous years Lifeline Mid Coast, the paediatric unit at Port Base Hospital and the Flamin' Dragons Abreast have received substantial donations thanks to fund-raising at the Ball.
